Slight colour variation can occur in oak and ash veneer. The wood base is form-pressed oak or ash veneer with water-based lacquer. Wipe the wood with a damp, clean cloth and remove spills at once to avoid discolouration. Stains can be removed with a mild mixture of water and detergent. Avoid sharp objects, which can scratch the wood and lacquer. For textile upholstery, dab non-greasy stains with a lint-free cloth wrung out in clean warm water, using a little dish soap if needed. Muuto points to the textile maker for instructions on your chosen fabric.
