Balsan is a French carpet maker that describes its textile tradition as reaching back nearly three centuries. It presents itself as a family-led company with a creative streak.

It makes carpet in tile and broadloom formats, with acoustic and low-carbon options, and offers a design studio for custom work. Many tiles are 50 x 50 cm and use regenerated ECONYL polyamide, such as Tramontane and Cesar. Lift Up is the first Balsan tile to use its BioBack backing.
