Bloom Vase, Big by 101 Copenhagen
The Bloom Vase, Big by 101 Copenhagen is a large sculptural vase in hand-painted fiber concrete, shaped like opening petals and designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl.
Available in Dubai through WSPR.
Petals Unfolding
Bloom starts from the shape of a flower, from closed bud to open bloom. It recasts 1970s floral design in a rawer, cleaner voice. Smooth curves sit over a firm geometry, and shadows gather in the folds as the day moves on. At this larger scale the vase works well as a statement piece on its own or with other Bloom designs.
Materials & Finishes
100% fiber concrete, hand-painted and hand-finished.
A tactile, stone-like surface with small variations in tone and texture.
Not fully waterproof. A bag for fresh flowers is included.
