AD Floor Lamp by 101 Copenhagen
The AD Floor Lamp by 101 Copenhagen is a round floor lamp of thin aluminium plates, influenced by Brutalism, designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl.
Available in Dubai through WSPR.
Brutalist Geometry
The round, geometric shape follows the austere Brutalist movement of the mid-20th century. The oxidized surface is textured and nearly concrete-like, a nod to architecture. Thin aluminium plates enclose the light and scatter it smoothly. From some angles the lamp looks paper thin, from others solid.
