Air Modular Sofa by Sancal
The Air Modular Sofa by Sancal sits on recessed feet, so even large compositions seem to float, hence the name. Designed by Rafa García in 2004, it is a full modular system for building a sofa to the size of the room.
Available in Dubai through WSPR.
Build It Your Way
Each module is sold separately. Combine armless seats, end modules, chaise longues, corners and poufs into straight, L-shaped or U-shaped layouts. Modules join with a ratchet system.
Two back heights: 81 cm or 88 cm
Three arms: wide, narrow, or high (the high arm also works as a back in corner layouts)
Left and right versions of every end module, as seen when facing the sofa
Two poufs; the 95 × 95 cm pouf can also act as a corner
Upholstery & Pricing
Air is made to order in Sancal's fabric and leather collection, grouped by Sancal into price series. Each module's price shown is its starting price, in Sancal's entry fabric series. Choose any fabric or leather and we will confirm the exact price with your quote. In fabric, all covers are removable; in leather or synthetic leather, only the cushion covers are.

Choose the modules you need and add each one to your order. Sancal asks for a floor plan with every modular order, so send us your layout and we will check it before confirming.
Left and right are always read facing the sofa.
Sancal groups its fabrics and leathers into price series. Each price shown is for Sancal's entry fabric series. Your chosen fabric or leather sets the final price, which we confirm in your quote.
In fabric, all covers are removable. In leather or synthetic leather, only the cushion covers are removable.
Air is made to order by Sancal in Spain. Modules are delivered assembled; in fabric the 240 cm module comes ready to take apart for delivery.
