Air is designed by Rafa García for Sancal (2004).

What is the difference between the three arms?

The Wide Arm is a deep, low arm you can rest a cup on. The Narrow Arm is slimmer, so the sofa takes less space. The High Arm rises to 70 cm for more support. Each comes in three lengths.

Why is the price a starting price?

Sancal groups its fabrics and leathers into price series. The price shown is for Sancal's entry fabric series. Your chosen fabric or leather sets the final price, which we confirm in your quote.

Which back height should I choose?

H81 gives a lower, more relaxed profile. H88 adds 7 cm of back support. Both have the same seat.

Can I build a corner or chaise layout instead?

Yes. The Air Modular Sofa uses the same design in separate modules, including chaise longues, corners and poufs. Air is made to order by Sancal in Spain.

Q: Are the covers removable?

In fabric, all covers are removable. In leather or synthetic leather, only the cushion covers are removable.

The Air Sofa by Sancal sits on recessed feet, so it seems to float just above the floor. Designed by Rafa García in 2004, it is the ready-to-order version of the Air system: one complete sofa in the length and arm you choose.

A Sofa That Floats

Deep seats, generous back cushions and a low, clean base. The hidden feet leave a shadow line under the sofa, which keeps even the 3 m version light.

Three Arms, Two Back Heights

Wide Arm: a deep, low arm. 224, 244 or 304 cm
Narrow Arm: a slimmer arm for tighter rooms. 192, 212 or 272 cm
High Arm: rises to 70 cm for more support. 194, 214 or 274 cm
