Bakku Vase, Big by 101 Copenhagen
The Bakku Vase, Big by 101 Copenhagen is a large mouth-blown glass vase in a soft, collapsing-sack form, designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl.
Available in Dubai through WSPR.
The Beauty of Imperfection
Bakku is the Japanese word for bag, and the vase looks like a softly collapsing sack. It values imperfection and natural curves. It is mouth blown, then spray painted in a warm, translucent grey reminiscent of early morning mist. No two are alike, and small air bubbles or shape variations are part of it.
