The Baso Pendant Lamp by Miniforms is a generous, softly shaped pendant lamp with a lampshade in recycled polyethylene, in a tactile White Moon finish. Its compact, rounded form recalls a kiss: large in size, yet delicate in presence.

A Kiss, Venetian Style

Baso takes its name from Venice, but its language is universal. The shade echoes the compact shape of a kiss, generous in scale and light in presence.

Like the nursery rhyme says, you can give it to anyone you like. With its recycled polyethylene shade, it finds a place in almost any room.

Designed for Soft, Diffused Light

Designed by E-ggs, Baso is a pendant that lets the light do the work. The translucent shade diffuses the light into the room and stays a quiet sculptural presence when switched off.

Key features include:

• Pendant lamp with a softly shaped lampshade

• Shade in over 90% recycled polyethylene

• Tactile White Moon surface that evokes the moon

• Three E27 lamp holders integrated into the ceiling rose

• Light diffused through the translucent shade

• Supplied with a 3 m cable

Bulbs are not included. The indicative light source is three E27 lamps of up to 75 W (1095 lm, 2700 K).

Materials & Craftsmanship

Baso belongs to the PE lighting collection, made from recycled polyethylene. Post-consumer waste is sorted by colour and melted at controlled temperatures, so the material can be reused without loss of quality.

Available features include:

• Lampshade in recycled polyethylene (LDPE), stable between -10° and +50°

• White Moon finish shaped by the varying density of the granules

• Extremely lightweight and durable

• Fully recycled and recyclable material

• Ceiling rose with integrated E27 lamp holders

The texture recalls the surface of the moon, and the light interacts with it through its transparency.
