Collar Chair by Sancal
The Collar Chair by Sancal is an upholstered armchair made like a tailored shirt. Designed by the Spanish studio Skrivo in 2014, its arms fold over like a button-down collar.
Available in Dubai through WSPR.
Made Like a Suit
An injection-moulded shell is dressed in upholstery cut to measure. Even the buttons and piping are covered to match the seat cushion, so every detail is finished by hand.
Four Bases
Wooden legs: solid ash in a wide range of stains
Metal legs: in Sancal's extra matte lacquers
Base with wheels: swivel, with gas height adjustment
Four-star base: swivel, for meeting rooms
The shell and seat cushion can be in two different fabrics.

Yes. The shell and the seat cushion are upholstered separately, so they can be in two fabrics. The buttons always match the seat cushion.
Collar is made to order by Sancal in Spain. Soft glides for smooth floors come as standard on the leg versions; hard glides for carpets are available on request.
