Stacked Volumes
Stacked building components and modular structures inspire the design. Two interlocking volumes, the backrest and the seat, read as separate yet unified. The open shape invites several ways of sitting and easy conversation. Layers of foam and gently rounded edges soften the geometry, and little visible stitching keeps it clean and monolithic.
