Diwan Bench by Sancal
The Diwan Bench by Sancal is a modern take on the classic divan, designed by PerezOchando in 2020. It comes as a long divan with two curved arms or as armless benches.
Available in Dubai through WSPR.
Oriental Luxury for Modern Life
The diwan was once the reception room where rulers welcomed guests to recline and talk. Valencia's Arab heritage led PerezOchando to a contemporary version: sinuous seats and backs pared back to the minimum, on flat wooden legs in natural or stained wood.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Diwan is designed by the Valencian studio PerezOchando (Claudia and Pedro) for Sancal (2020), inspired by the city's Arab heritage.
Yes. The 62 and 133 cm benches can stand alone or be joined with metal couplers into long runs. They sit higher than the divan, for sitting rather than lounging.
Sancal groups its fabrics and leathers into price series. Each price shown is for Sancal's entry fabric series. Your chosen fabric sets the final price, which we confirm in your quote.
