Italian Trattoria, Danish Restraint

Mauro is the new seating series from Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen, shaped by the atmosphere of Italian trattorias and interpreted through the tenets of Danish design.

The handwoven paper cord seat brings tactility to the solid wood frame, which carries a veneer backrest angled to support the body. The result is relaxed, balanced and understated.

Designed for Everyday Dining

Stackable and adaptable, the Mauro Dining Chair moves easily between settings, from a home dining table to a shared space.

Key features include:

• Five oak-based finishes, natural and stained

• Stackable, up to 12 pieces on a trolley

• Felt or plastic glides suited to different floor types

Materials & Craftsmanship

CNC-cut wooden components form the frame and the pressed veneer seat and back, so each chair is consistent and light to move.

Available features include:

• Solid oak frame with oak veneer and plywood

• Veneer seat, or handwoven paper cord seat

• Natural Oak, Dark Stained Oak, Black Oak, Linen Blue Oak or French Red Oak

• Tested to EN 16139:2013, level 2

• Made in China

The oak finishes let the grain show through, whether left natural or stained, and the woven seat adds a warm, tactile contrast to the wood.
