Dawn Wall Lamp by Motarasu

The Dawn Wall Lamp by Motarasu is a wall lamp with a washi paper shade that unfolds from a strict circle into a curved form, on an oak beam, with two separate light sources. Designed by Bly Studio.

Available in Dubai through WSPR.

A Circle That Unfolds

Dawn begins as a plain circle and holds a small surprise. Open the shade and it turns into a dynamic curve, and the way you open it sets the direction and the amount of light.

The oak beam creates friction against the shade and holds it in place in different positions. Motarasu is a Danish design house that brings Danish and Japanese designers together under one brand, with a shared taste for minimal form and careful craft.
