The Enso 150 Pendant Lamp by Motarasu is the longer Enso, a pendant lamp about 150 cm long with an oak joinery frame and a washi paper shade, in natural, smoked or black oak. Designed by Lars Vejen.

A Collaboration With Gravity

Enso is built on traditional Japanese wood joinery and developed for LED light. It is hung as a nearly perfect form and slowly settles into its final oval shape, never quite perfect and never quite the same.

The shade is Japanese washi paper that diffuses the light into a soft, warm glow. Motarasu is a Danish design house that brings Danish and Japanese designers together under one brand, with a shared taste for minimal form and careful craft.

Materials & Care

The frame is solid oak with the wood joinery held by magnets, so the shade opens easily and can be cleaned with a soft cloth. The shade is laminated Japanese washi paper.
