Sekiun 50 Raw Pendant Lamp by Motarasu

The Sekiun 50 Raw Pendant Lamp by Motarasu is a washi paper pendant, 51 cm across, with a brass fitting, in beige. Designed by Ryota Yokozeki.

Available in Dubai through WSPR.

Shaped Like a Cloud

Sekiun takes its form from cumulus clouds, whose shape shifts with time, place and season. Two sheets of specially coated washi paper are rolled and layered to give a light, airy volume.

The silhouette changes with the angle you see it from. Hang one above a table, or group several into a cloud. Motarasu is a Danish design house that brings Danish and Japanese designers together under one brand, with a shared taste for minimal form and careful craft.
