Mullit Chair by Sancal
The Mullit Chair by Sancal started as a simple question: what if a cushion had legs? Designed by Yonoh in 2018, it pairs a full, soft seat and back with a light, almost graphic base.
Available in Dubai through WSPR.
A Cushion with Legs
Two generous cushions do the work. A subtle gather on the back and a piped edge borrow the look of a scatter cushion, while the slim legs keep the whole thing light on its feet.
It feels soft to sit in and reads as a clean, formal shape from across the room.
Five Bases
Wooden legs in stained ash
Tapered metal legs in extra matte lacquer
Gold electroplated metal structure
Swivel base with wheels and gas height adjustment
Four-star aluminium swivel base
The same chair moves from the dining table to the desk by changing its base.
