Muuto sees the Cover Side Chair as an elegant perspective on the timeless wooden chair. It draws on forward-thinking craftsmanship and Scandinavian materiality.

The curved backrest folds around the back legs and explores the possibilities of veneer. A sturdy base in solid wood gives deep comfort. The chair is stackable, with a water-based lacquer.

Materials & Care

The chair is made from form-pressed wood, folded over the legs and backrest. The back and seat are oak veneer on a solid oak frame, with a water-based lacquer and plastic glides. The felt stacking pad has 60% post-consumer recycled content. Oak veneer and Stained Dark Brown can show slight colour variations.

Wood: clean with a moist cloth, then wipe off excess liquid with a dry cloth. Upholstery: dab non-greasy textile stains with a lint-free cloth wrung out in clean, warm water, with soapy water if needed. Muuto points to kvadrat.dk for textile advice. Imitation leather: lukewarm pH-neutral soapy water, no solvents. Leather: wipe with a dry cloth regularly and treat it at least four times a year.
