Materials & Care
The back and seat are veneer with a beech core and an oak veneer top with water-based lacquer; the Stained Dark Brown version is finished with water-based lacquer. Seats can be upholstered in textile, imitation leather or leather from selected premium leather suppliers. The frame is powder-coated steel with plastic glides. Slight colour variations can occur in oak veneer and Stained Dark Brown.
Clean with a moist cloth first and wipe off excess liquid with a dry cloth. Wooden products develop a patina where the surface colour can fade slightly. If cleaning is uneven this may become more noticeable, though the lacquer stays in place. Without seat upholstery it can be cleaned with alcohol disinfectant. Upholstered seats: textile is cleaned by dabbing non-greasy stains with a lint-free cloth wrung out in warm water, with advice from Kvadrat for specific textiles. Imitation leather: lukewarm pH-neutral soapy water, no solvents. Leather is natural and needs looking after.
