The Nama Lounge Chair by 101 Copenhagen is a low, relaxed chair built from rounded oak sticks with a linen upholstered seat and back, designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl.

Raw and Natural
Nama means raw and natural in Japanese, and the chair follows that idea closely. Its form comes from traditional Japanese stick chairs, where every bent and rounded piece of wood does structural work. The backrest borrows from Copenhagen bicycle bags and is held to the frame by two simple straps. With a fully upholstered seat, it suits long afternoons of reading or quiet talk.
