Bau Lamp by Normann Copenhagen
The Bau Lamp by Normann Copenhagen is a sculptural pendant lamp in linden wood veneer, in two sizes. Designed by Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt.
Available in Dubai through WSPR.
Geometric, sculptural
Bau is a sculptural hanging lamp with attitude. It is based on interlocking geometric circles that stick out in all directions, with a pattern broken up by the discs' sizes and off-centre linkages.
In German, Bau means construction, and the construction creates its expression of harmonious disharmonies. The lamp is a self-assembly design in two sizes, built from natural wooden parts. It goes together without tools, and a manual is included.
