Cap Table Lamp by Normann Copenhagen
The Cap Table Lamp by Normann Copenhagen is a steel table lamp with a rotatable, semicircular shade. Designed by KaschKasch.
Available in Dubai through WSPR.
Inspired by a cartoon
Cap is a functional table lamp with an adjustable shade. The German design duo KaschKasch drew on the cartoon character Calimero, a little chicken with an eggshell on its head, which gave them the idea for the large semicircular shade.
The rounded shade balances the stringent geometry of the base. It is rotatable, so the light can be directed, and white on the inside for optimal reflection. The shade slides over the bulb, which becomes a smooth rotation point.
