The Knot Chair by Normann Copenhagen is a wooden chair with joints tied together in natural paper cord. Designed by Tatsuo Kuroda.

Classic Materials, Modern Lines
Japanese designer Tatsuo Kuroda created a chair that unites classic materials with a modern look. Its clean, simple expression recalls 1950s furniture, and draws on Scandinavian design.
The structural parts are tied together with paper cord, which supports the chair and gives it its visual detail. Bent solid wood meets a seat of curved veneer, and the overlapping parts make a wider armrest. The chair is delivered assembled.

Materials & Care
Painted and lacquered ash veneer, with solid bent wood and natural paper cord. Clean with a damp cloth, and avoid getting the chair wet, as the colour can rub off. Check and tighten the screws every 3 to 6 months. It comes with PP glides, and felt glides can be bought separately.
