A 1974 Design, Reissued
Limit Lounge Chair is a reissue of Niels Bendtsen's iconic 1974 design. Developed in Copenhagen, it gained international recognition and a place in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York. The name reflects a time of material scarcity and structural clarity.
A lightweight steel frame carries a suspended, padded cover, so the chair does a lot with little. Optional connectors, sold separately, link chairs into configurations of any length. The outdoor version has an electroplated and powder coated frame and a UV stable weave, and includes a protective cover.

Materials & Care
Frame in electroplated steel with a black powder coat. The cover has an inner layer of a net-like weave in PVC-coated PET, UV stable for outdoor use, and an outer layer of wadding, upholstery and a zipper. Clean gently with mild soap and a damp cloth, and avoid prolonged contact with water. It comes with plastic (PE) glides, and felt glides can be bought separately.
