The Phantom Floor Lamp by Normann Copenhagen is a voluminous floor lamp with a semi-transparent resin shade over a steel frame. Designed by Simon Legald.

Dramatic Silhouettes
Phantom is a series of voluminous lamps in a special semi-transparent resin. The outlines of archetypal chandeliers inspired the dramatic silhouettes, which take a soft character in an ivory veil.
A steel skeleton is wrapped in elastic resin sprayed in closely spaced threads, as a silkworm forms its cocoon. The lamp emits an indirect, diffuse light that creates a warm, atmospheric glow.

Materials & Care
Flame-retardant resin over a steel frame. The resin is sprayed in many layers of thin threads, which gives the shade a textured finish. Before cleaning, disconnect the power and let the lamp cool for 10 minutes. Handle the resin shade with care, as excessive pressure or scratches may cause deformation or breakage.
