Ozz Desk Lamp by Miniforms
The Ozz Desk Lamp by Miniforms is a compact desk lamp in black metal with an adjustable shade and a concrete counterweight. Ozz has gone shy here: flexible, practical and taking up minimal space.
Available in Dubai through WSPR.
Illuminating a Story
It seems Ozz has gone shy. Here it appears in the desk version, with an adjustable shade that makes it flexible while taking up minimal space.
The counterweight is fundamental even at these small dimensions. It keeps a constant, intense interaction with the lampshade and creates an original interplay between the shapes. Even more enjoyable in its practicality.
Designed for the Desk
A small lamp with a clear line. The shade turns to where the light is needed, and the base stays neatly out of the way, so the desk keeps its calm. It is the desk version of the Ozz family, with the same character in a smaller size.
Key features include:
Desk version of the Ozz lamp
Adjustable shade
Black lacquered metal structure
Concrete counterweight
Compact footprint
G9 bulb, maximum 6W (bulb not included)
Designed by Paolo Cappello, and made by Miniforms in Italy.
Materials & Craftsmanship
Ozz Desk pairs a slim black metal structure with a concrete counterweight. The contrast between the two materials is part of the design.
Available features include:
Metal structure lacquered in Nero (black)
Concrete counterweight
Adjustable shade
Simple G9 lamp holder
The details are quiet and precise, so the lamp sits comfortably beside books, pens and a cup of tea. The counterweight keeps the shade balanced in whichever position it is set, and the black finish lets the lamp recede when it is switched off.
Ideal For
Home offices and writing desks
Consoles and side tables
Bedroom and reading corners
Studios and creative workspaces
Hotel rooms and hospitality projects
Wherever a small, focused light is needed, Ozz Desk provides it without fuss. Its shade can be turned toward the page, the keyboard or the wall, and its low profile leaves plenty of room on the surface for everything else.
