Available in Dubai through WSPR.
On to Another Checkmate
Ionna Vautrin drew on chess for Pion: the dining tables are the kings and queens, the occasional tables the rooks, bishops and knights, and the stool the humble pawn. Each piece stands on a sculpted conical base.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Pion is designed by Ionna Vautrin for Sancal (2013). Inspired by chess, it is a full set of pieces: dining tables as kings and queens, occasional tables and a stool as the pawn.
Slatted linden (Pion Tilo), ash veneer in any stain (Pion Fresno), HPL, and Emperador Gold or Carrara marble (Pion Petra). Not every top comes in every size; the options on this page show what can be ordered.
The conical bases come in Sancal's high-gloss or extra-matte lacquers, so you can match or contrast them with the top.
