Pion Stool by Sancal
The Pion Stool by Sancal is a small, sturdy stool on a conical base, designed by Ionna Vautrin in 2013.
Available in Dubai through WSPR.
The Humble Pawn
Ionna Vautrin drew on chess for Pion: the dining tables are the kings and queens, the occasional tables the rooks, bishops and knights, and the stool the humble pawn. Each piece stands on a sculpted conical base.
