The Plautino Coffee Table by Miniforms is a pair of organic, loosely oval coffee tables on leaf-shaped legs, in a large and a small version. It is Plauto in miniature, and the two sizes can work together as a modular set.

Mini Plauto

Plautino is just like Plauto, but in miniature. It has not only got smaller: one of its two leaf-shaped legs has also changed direction, echoing the new organic top.

The result is a new poetry of form, pure and contemporary. Balance comes from the loosely oval tops, the ideal surface for letting your ideas flow, obstacle free.

Designed for Living Spaces

Plautino combines solidity with endearing appeal. Its legs are reduced in size and explore different directions, resulting in two substantial modular coffee tables designed by Paolo Cappello.

Used alone or together, the tables give a room a calm, sculptural centre. The larger table anchors a sofa group, while the smaller one works beside an armchair or as a companion to the larger.

Materials & Craftsmanship

Plautino is built around the warmth of wood. The leaf-cut legs are made in veneered oak, walnut or ash, and the top follows the same veneers or changes to stone.

• Wood veneer tops in Flamed Oak, Canaletto Walnut, Heat-Treated Oak or Black Ash

• Porcelain stoneware tops

• Palladio marble tops in Doge or Moro

• Leaf-cut legs in the same four wood finishes

Wood or stone, each top keeps the same soft outline, so the table reads as a single, organic shape. Choosing the wood, the stone and the size lets the table settle into a room without shouting.
