Plauto Table by Miniforms

The Plauto Table by Miniforms is a sculptural dining table that celebrates the timeless beauty of wood through refined Italian craftsmanship. Designed by Paolo Cappello and Simone Sabatti, Plauto draws inspiration from the past while embracing a contemporary design language. Defined by its distinctive leaf-shaped wooden legs and monolithic character, the table transforms natural timber into an architectural centerpiece that balances strength, elegance, and simplicity.

A Tribute to the Beauty of Wood

Named after the Roman playwright, Plauto looks to the past for inspiration while expressing a thoroughly modern aesthetic. The design places wood at the heart of the composition, allowing it to showcase its versatility through flat, curved, and sculptural forms. The tabletop appears to float effortlessly above the signature leaf-shaped legs, creating a harmonious balance between solid volumes and light visual proportions.

Its sculptural silhouette and carefully crafted details make Plauto an elegant focal point for contemporary dining spaces, where craftsmanship and material authenticity take centre stage.
