Soda Coffee Table by Miniforms

The Soda Coffee Table by Miniforms is a round coffee table made from a single volume of blown glass, with three large petals forming the stem. Its hammered, hand-shaped surface lets the light move through the glass.

Available in Dubai through WSPR.

Blown Away

Soda was born upside-down, with a puff of air. It is blown, drawn out and shaped by three master glassmakers, and the result is a single volume of glass with three large petals forming the stem.

In Soda, the glass vibrates. Its tough, hammered surface fragments its transparency and gives it a primitive aesthetic: artistic value granted to an industrial product.

Designed to Catch the Light

Designed by Yiannis Ghikas, Soda is a low table that behaves more like an object than a piece of furniture. Its hammered glass turns light into texture.

Key features include:

• Design by Yiannis Ghikas

• Two sizes: a taller side table and a lower coffee table

• Single volume of blown glass

• Three large petals forming the stem

• Hammered surface that breaks up the transparency

• Amber, Petrol Green and Blue, with a transparent finish in the Iced version

The two sizes work well together, at different heights, as a quiet pair. Each one is a single, complete gesture, and the glass does the talking.

Materials & Craftsmanship

Soda is made entirely from blown glass, worked by hand by three master glassmakers. Each piece is a single volume, so there is no join between the base and the top.

Available features include:

• Blown glass in Amber, Petrol Green or Blue

• Transparent glass in the Iced version

• Hammered, textured surface

• Three-petal stem shaped from the same volume

• Suitable for indoor and outdoor use

Made in Italy, the colour lives in the thickness of the glass rather than in a coating.

Ideal For

• Living rooms beside sofas and armchairs

• Hotel lounges and lobbies

• Terraces and covered outdoor areas

• Restaurants and bars

• Galleries, showrooms and boutiques

Soda brings colour and light to a room without adding noise, and it works alone or grouped at different heights.
