Soda Oval Coffee Table by Miniforms

The Soda Oval Coffee Table by Miniforms is an oval coffee table in blown glass, designed by Yiannis Ghikas. It has two stems and an elongated top, and comes in amber, blue or petrol green.

Available in Dubai through WSPR.

Surf Away

Give or take a stem or two: this time Soda has only two stems, and its top takes on an elongated shape. Smooth as a surfboard, it evokes the fluidity of 1950s French design, with the bold voice of Miniforms.

On its own it is enchanting, but in compositions it reveals its playful side, breaking up the inertia of more basic forms.

Designed for Compositions

Soda Oval works as a single piece or grouped with other tables, adding colour and softness to a room. With only two stems supporting the elongated top, it feels light, and it is designed to break up the stillness of more basic forms.

Key features include:

• Oval blown-glass coffee table

• Two stems and an elongated top

• Available in Amber, Blue or Petrol Green

• For indoor and outdoor use

• Designed by Yiannis Ghikas

Group it with other Soda tables to build a composition of shapes and colours. Placed on a rug or on bare floor, the glass catches the light and adds colour without adding weight.

Materials & Craftsmanship

Blown glass gives Soda Oval its depth of colour and its smooth, fluid outline. Because the glass is blown, the surface keeps a gentle, organic softness that suits a table meant to feel like a surfboard.

Available features include:

• Blown glass in Amber

• Blown glass in Blue

• Blown glass in Petrol Green

Each colour changes with the light, so the table reads differently through the day. The smooth, surfboard-like top is easy to live with, and works as a resting place for books, flowers and objects.

Ideal For

• Living rooms and lounges

• Hotel lobbies and hospitality spaces

• Terraces and covered outdoor areas

• Reception areas and galleries

• Interiors that welcome a note of colour
