Sumo Sofa by Sancal
The Sumo Sofa by Sancal is a rounded, compact two-seater designed by Yonoh in 2013.
Available in Dubai through WSPR.
Pronounced Curves
Yonoh took the powerful silhouette of sumo wrestlers and set it on light ash feet, like the wooden clogs they wear to and from the ring. Strong curves and raised seams define the shape, yet Sumo has a small footprint, ideal for contract spaces.
Finishes
Feet: solid ash in any stain, from natural to pink or yellow
Upholstery: fabric, leather or synthetic leather; covers are fixed
