Tonella Stool by Sancal
The Tonella Stool by Sancal is a counter or bar stool with an upholstered seat in a metal cage, designed by Note Design Studio in 2015.

From a Vanity Table to the World
Sancal began by making classic French-style chairs. Note Design Studio revisited that past, reinterpreting a Marie Antoinette-style vanity chair. Straight quilting inspired by the staves of Spanish wine barrels runs down the piece to its metal cage base.

Tonella is designed by Note Design Studio for Sancal (2015). It reinterprets Sancal's classic vanity chair, with straight quilting inspired by the staves of Spanish wine barrels running down to the cage base.
The lounge chairs and stools have a firm seat and tightly tailored upholstery. The Soft armchair, sofa and poufs have a generous fibre filling for a relaxed, casual look.
The metal cage base can be lacquered in any colour from Sancal's extra-matte range.
