Urchin Plant Pot, Medio by 101 Copenhagen
The Urchin Plant Pot, Medio by 101 Copenhagen is an oval fibre concrete planter that floats above three sculptural legs, designed by Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl.
Available in Dubai through WSPR.
Inspired by the Sea Urchin
The oval vessel rests on three bold legs, like a creature between land and sea. The open space beneath lets roots breathe and keeps the planter light on its feet. Its beehive texture is taken from casts of shellfish gathered along windswept shores. It is a planter with a clear point of view, yet it stays calm beside any plant.
